Description: This layer contains polygons representing easements within the City of Eureka. Each polygon's geometry was originally hand drawn within the City's easements map book. The polygons were digitized from scanned and georeferenced pages from this map. As such, the locations and boundary lines for each easement should only be considered an approximation and may not represent the legal descriptions exactly. Supporting documentation for these easements are stored as hardcopies in the City’s files. These files are to be scanned and added to this layer as attachments over time. Review the DataSource, MapSource, and MapMethod fields for more information on how easements were delineated.
